How To Change Your Voice - Part 1:
YOUR VOICE
In this lesson we will cover the quality of your voice and discover what your voice is saying about you. What does the quality of your voice say about you? The quality of your voice can describe you in many ways. It can make you sound mature, calming, casual, unsure, authoritative, exaggerated, etc.
HEAD VOICE vs CHEST VOICE
There are two different ways that we identify the quality of your voice: one is ‘head voice’, and the other is the ‘chest voice’. It all has to do with where your voice is resonating—or where you are feeling a vibration. The head voice resonates more in the head, and the chest voice resonates more in the chest. In other words, we’re talking about the tone of our voice. People who have a head voice are using higher tones, and those who have a chest voice are using lower tones.
